Founder Story
While living abroad, I began managing the construction and oversight of a property in Senegal. What initially seemed like a straightforward project quickly became a complex challenge. Coordinating work from a distance meant navigating time differences, communication gaps, logistical hurdles, and the constant uncertainty of not being physically present.
Simple tasks often required multiple calls, follow-ups, and trust in people I could not always verify directly. Delays, misunderstandings, and the difficulty of managing details remotely made me realize how vulnerable property owners can feel when they are far from their investment.
The experience also revealed something important: many people in the diaspora, as well as international investors and expatriates, face the same challenges. Whether building a home, maintaining property, or preparing for a visit to Senegal, the lack of a reliable local support system can turn what should be an exciting experience into a stressful one.
Teranga Elite was created to address this challenge. The company was built on a simple idea: provide trusted, professional, on-the-ground support in Senegal.
